CSD Prague had opened a direct account in Euroclear Bank SA/NV and to opened the corresponding settlement link on 1st December 2017.

CSD Prague’s cooperation with Euroclear will enable it to provide a wider range of services and to have access to many additional foreign markets. “This relationship with Euroclear will provide us with a safe and efficient settlement link permitting us to use all services related to corporate events and the potential to further develop services related to foreign securities”, says Helena Čacká, CEO of CSD Prague. This step has been welcomed by many CSD Prague participants and could open new opportunities for Prague Stock Exchange.

In accordance with the Act the CSD notifies, that only data not older than 1 January 2007 will be provided from 1 July 2017.

According to §99a of the Capital Market Act 256/2004 the Central Securities Depository (CSD) is obliged to keep data in its records for 10 years from the end of a calendar year in which the data was recorded, and provide information from this data keeping to authorized persons according to §115 of the same Act.

Please be informed about an interruption of operation of CSD Prague’s systems due to a planned fundamental upgrade of its network framework. Because of upgrade, ISB website and its private area will not be accessible completely. There will be also some limitation in providing information to general public (LEI service). Upgrade will take place from 2nd June to 4th June 2017 (non-working days).
