The CSD Prague notifies that only data not older than 1st January 2010 are provided from 1st July 2020.

According to §99a of the Capital Market Act 256/2004 the Central Securities Depository (CSD) is obliged to keep data in its records for 10 years from the end of a calendar year in which the data was recorded, and provide information from this data keeping to authorized persons according to §115 of the same Act.

Due to the maintenance of the CDCP database servers, the CDCP website (www.cdcp.cz) will be out of order and therefore the Free online Services and the ISB Services will not be available on 6 August 2020 (from 20:00 to 00:00). We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused.

As an ancillary settlement system, the CSD Prague has become a direct participant in TARGET2 (the payment system operated by euro area central banks). As of today, therefore, the cash part of securities settlement in EUR in the CSD only takes place via TARGET2, which means that participants or their clearing banks must be cleared through this payment system if they want to allow delivery versus payment (DVP) settlement in EUR.

The CSD Prague is preparing a new communication channel for its participants - CDCP Enter. It is a web application allowing especially manual processing. The application will be available in the production environment along with the implementation of the changes related to the CSDR settlement discipline requirements in February 2021. However, it will be available for testing as early as June this year. More information is available here.

The main change in the price list valid from 1.7.2020 concerns the distribution of fees for bonds. After a detailed analysis and international comparison, the CSD Prague has decided to reduce the issuance fee paid by the issuer and to increase the safekeeping fee paid by the bond holder.

Issuance of the Harvardský průmyslový holding, CZ0009086708, has been blocked by the Issuer at CSD Prague from 5.8.2019 to 1.9. 2019. The issue will then be written off. Securities can no longer be donated to the Endowment Fund of CSD Prague.

CSD Prague received on the 1st December 2017 the Certificate of Accreditation and has been fully accredited as a Local Operating Unit (LOU) authorized to issue Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) in designated jurisdictions. There is no impact on holders of LEIs and CSD Prague will continue issuing LEIs according current business terms. This accreditation was the final step of CSD Prague integration to the GLEIS (Global Legal Entity Identifier System) as an official Local Operating Unit and issued pre-LEIs have been automatically changed to LEIs.
